The owner of Arrez Construction decided to turn his passion for construction into a business. Omar Arrez chose to start his business because he wanted to find true freedom and independence. He stated, "the last thing that pushed me to start my business was the lack of competitive salary." He is a believer that any fixing for the customer needs to be done perfectly. In making the customers happy, leadership becomes fundamental in running a business. He says that "leaders are an example for those around them and should not hide their flaws but show how each can improve or work around those imperfections."

Omar Arrez started his business in October of 2018. Thus far, the pandemic has not had a significant impact on the company. Most of the customers are referred by word of mouth. The business has a website where customers can submit their information to be contacted. Arrez Construction does carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and other services. There is a lot of competition, but Omar acknowledges that he has loyal customers always supporting him. He wants people looking to start a business to know that "even if one fails, it is worth the knowledge gained."
