In this club all wrestlers are part of a big family.

The Coach

Nathan Martinez has a passion and dedication to teach all the kids that join his wrestling club. Since Coach Nate was 11 years, he had a passion for the sport and wanted to share it with others. He has earned the respect and love of the kids he coaches. He has welcomed the families as part of his own family by giving advice and being supportive.

The Club

NWO Wrestling Club is located at 105 E Si Johnson Ave, Sheridan, IL 60551. Nathan Martinez established the club in 2017. The club used to be dependent on the high schools' schedule, making it challenging to have off-schedule events. With the new location, families have shown outstanding commitment by traveling 45 minutes to an hour.

Lesson are for Life

The lessons Coach Nate instructs his students are based on life experiences. His hope is for his students to apply it to their own life. He tries to connect with his students and their families through various communication methods. The main ones include Facebook, Instagram, BAND, and the club's website. He stated, "Leadership is always doing the right thing even if no one is looking," because as a coach, he needs to be an example to his students. Although the club started before the pandemic, adjustments had to be made to follow regulations and the sport's rules. For those seeking to open their own club, Coach Nate advises them to "get as much help as you can."
