The owner of Sweets by Cely is Celina Ambriz. She graduated from college in May of 2020. She struggled to find a job because of the decline in the economy due to the pandemic. She made Churro Cheesecake Squares for a friend's birthday, and she found out her baking sweets were loved by those that ate them. In October of 2020, she officially launched Sweets by Cely.

Sweets by Cely is located in Aurora, where competition is tough. Celina was the only one doing Churro Cheesecake Squares until people started to adopt her creation. She has strong faith in her abilities to innovate sweets. The business uses Instagram and Facebook to reach current and new customers.
