Karina Garcia started her esthetician business in August of 2020. "I always wanted to work for myself," she said as she explained why to start a business during the pandemic. Karina transformed her new house to a business location to provide the most flexible schedule structure for her clients.

The Business

Terre Blvd Beauty has its roots in motivating its clients and making them feel loved and valued. One can find services like waxing, facials, and lashes. The business is fully licensed by Cook County and the state. Customers can make appointments through Facebook and Instagram. Customers can make appointments as early as 5 AM and as late as 10 PM. Karina believes flexibility is key to providing excellent customer service.

The pandemic has not been easy for Terre Blvd Beauty. It is only 5 months old and has been able to adapt to new ways of reaching customers. Karina understands there is a lot of competition but warns everyone she meets to go to licensed estheticians. She says that "leaders need to be patient and calm while providing service."
